Thousands of tents housing displaced Palestinians across the Gaza Strip have been inundated after heavy rain and strong winds battered the area. Witnesses said that early Tuesday, hundreds of Palestinians sought shelter from the storm among the ruins of buildings in Gaza City, many of which were largely destroyed by the Israeli army.
