Following warnings from the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM), heavy rainfall affected some areas of the city. The rain caused water to accumulate on the streets, creating difficulties for drivers and pedestrians; and several accidents occurred on the D-100 highway.
Heavy rainfall has begun to affect Istanbul. In some areas, roads have turned into lakes, and citizens caught unprepared by the rain experienced difficult moments.
