Federal Health Minister Warken has announced further savings due to a new financing gap with the statutory health insurance companies.
The health insurance companies spent 3.5 billion euros more than expected in the first quarter. To compensate for this, the health insurance reform is expected to be more extensive than planned.
Because the financial situation of the funds is in the foreseeable future even worse than expected, the health ministers want to save more money than previously thought. Tomorrow the first draft goes to the Bundestag.
