The HCMS Hornet 8th grade boys basketball team pulled away during the third quarter then went on to win over St. Bernard by a final score of 41-26 on Friday at the middle school. Ethan Heavrin hit a “3” during the first frame while Nolan Maxwell, Leland Wilson and Landis Pate all added two points and Hancock County led 9-8 at the first horn.
