Hayward man with prior theft convictions arrested for stealing roofing supplies

(KRON) –  A Hayward man was arrested after he attempted to steal more than $2,000 worth of roofing supplies from a home improvement store, according to the Colma Police Department.  At approximately 7:20 p.m. on Aug. 2, Colma police officers responded to a Home Depot on Colma Boulevard for the report of a theft.
