The HAS recommends a comprehensive management of adults in gender transition and assigns a key role to the general practitioner. For the time being, it does not decide on minors because of a lack of medical consensus.

The High Health Authority has just submitted this report, which is the result of two and a half years of work. This morning at 7:50 a.m., our guest is Anaïs Perrin-Prevelle, director of the OUTRANS association, who is working in particular on training on transidentity issues.

"We see that there is a consensus on the majors and that we do not find the same consensus on minors," said Lionel Collet, President of the High Health Authority (HAS), at a press conference.

The President of the High Health Authority (HAS) announced Friday, July 18, 2025 that the body would not decide on the issue of gender change of minors until 2026. A postponement that is explained by "a lack of consensus" on this issue.
