Hampden carpark gets council tick

Hampden Community Energy chairman Dugald MacTavish said while the HCE had already received council approval for a carpark beside the community centre, it was holding off until a possible joint carpark was approved that would include more parking space further north of the school in the same area. A carpark will be built on council-owned land next to Hampden School following a vote by Waitaki District Council.
