Haiti Extradites Suspects in 2021 President's Assassination
- On Sunday, a military plane transported 18 suspects involved in the July 2021 assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse from Haiti to the United States, according to U.S. District Attorney for the Southern District Jason Reding Quiñones.

Eighteen persons charged with the investigation of his murder were extradited this Sunday, September 20 to the United States, where they are to appear before the Federal Court in Florida.
Among the suspects extradited to the United States, according to the Agence France-Presse, is Joseph Félix Badio, former Haitian leader of the anti-corruption unit.
