SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP)-- A man from West Springfield has pleaded guilty to possession of a machine gun. Angel Vargas, Jr., age 35, was arrested in January 2023 after a search of his home uncovered four loaded firearms, including a privately manufactured firearm, or “ghost gun,” with a Glock-style machinegun conversion device, also known as a “Glock switch,” which allows a Glock semi-automatic pistol to fire automatically.
