'GTA 6' team are reportedly working on a ‘L.A. Noire’ sequel next
- A resurfaced 2023 GTA Forums post by user Shahansha alleges Rockstar is developing a sequel to the 2011 crime game L.A. Noire, reportedly set in San Francisco and centered on the Zodiac killer.
- Former Team Bondi director Brendan McNamara, who led the original L.A. Noire, now heads Rockstar Australia, acquired by Rockstar in 2025 and staffed with veterans from the detective game's original development.
- According to the post, the project is in "very early stages of development," targeting a 2030 release while incorporating advanced facial scanning technology that the developer intends to make "insane."
