Grubhub announces most ordered foods of 2025. See list of items.

On Dec. 9, 2025, Grubhub published its 2025 Delivered Report after analyzing millions of orders from Jan. 1 through Oct. 15, 2025.
According to the company, Foodmaxxing is a cultural shift where meals focus on nutrition, function, and appeal because U.S. consumers sought energy, gut health, and protein this year.
Data show bean orders jumped 135%, with more than 1.5 tons of legumes delivered nationwide, tinned fish orders tripled and grocery purchases rose over 209%, while cold foam coffee surged 75% and more than 76,000 electrolyte drinks were delivered monthly this year.
Restaurants sold more than 750 chicken nuggets, tenders and strips every hour, totaling about 5.2 million orders this year, while New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Philadelphia led with 76% nugget orders and convenience store grab-and-go foods shifted to protein-forward items.
With wide reach, Grubhub works with 375,000 merchants in over 4,000 U.S. cities and said U.S. consumers focused on nutrition in 2025, reshaping menus and grocery offerings.
