124 people without work and due severance pay. Group layoffs have started at the Plati cable factory in Kwidzyn. Another 60 people are expected to lose their jobs soon. The redundancies are a consequence of the decision to transfer the company's activities to Germany and Romania. Local authorities have been involved in helping the injured workers.
