Family reunification: Greens want more teachers for German promotion

The party demands 1000 additional German support workers in kindergartens and 400 in schools as well as 200 social workers – half of them in Vienna

The Greens demand 1,000 additional German teachers at kindergartens as well as 400 additional teachers for German support at schools. In addition, 200 new social workers are to be employed at schools, according to Green Education Spokesperson Sigrid Maurer at a press conference on Thursday. Half of them are to be used in Vienna, stressed the green top candidate for the municipal council elections, Judith Pühringer.
