Greens Call for More Workers to Have a Permanent Four Day Week

An extraordinary portion of time off is brought by this and the following three weeks. The extended Easter weekend is immediately followed by two May holidays. Both are on Thursdays, and some schools have already declared headteacher leave for one of the Fridays. It is, however, an extraordinary sabbatical for a long time ahead. Employees will not be able to request a four-day workweek when working the same number of hours as they would for a five-day workweek.
