Green light for education reform: House approved it in second debate

It is one of the most important reforms of the government, which has promised since the campaign to ensure that education “takes over Colombia”, in the words of Gustavo Petro. This reform seeks to make secondary education (sixth and eighth grades) compulsory as the state advocates that higher education is a fundamental right. It also focuses resources on art and knowledge training, peace, sports and recreation.
