Grangeville Chamber seeks ideas for Capitol Christmas tree stop; Town is first on whistlestop tour Oct. 29; tree in Kamiah Nov. 1

GRANGEVILLE — A 76-foot Engelmann spruce from the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests will begin its cross-country celebration in Grangeville Thursday, Oct. 29, and the Grangeville Chamber of Commerce is planning a community send-off for the tree’s journey to Washington, D.C.
