Grandview mourns veteran firefighter

Following a 24 year career at the Grandview Fire Department, firefighter and paramedic Curt Parker passed away in his home on February 28, following a battle with cancer. The department and family will honore Parker’s life and years of service at a memorial on March 13 at Abundant Life Church, 304 SW Persels Road in Lee’s Summit, from 11 am to 1 pm.
