Grand jury indicts Echevarria in death, aggravated sexual assault of Carmane

A suspect in the August killing of Bami Carmane was indicted by an Orange County grand jury this week on charges of murder and aggravated sexual assault. Bonds for Adrian Ceasar Echevarria, 48, was set at $2 million for the murder charge and $500,000 for the aggravated sexual assault charge.  Carmane, 61, was found unresponsive Aug. 21 in the 300 Block of Foxglove in Vidor following a 911 call.
