All paved roadways on the North Rim will reopen May 15, according to the National Park Service.

Last summer, the Dragon Bravo Fire ravaged parts of Grand Canyon National Park between July 4 and September 29, 2025. The wildfire leveled the historic Grand Canyon Lodge and burned 145,504 acres.
