How many senior public and political officials are required to submit a statement of interest and income? The Transparency Entity does not know. It has also not yet completed the verification of the statements of the current government. The questions were raised after Luís Neves admitted that he did not deliver a statement when he was director of the PJ.
The CT admits that for decades it had no record of politicians and high public officials forced to declare income, pointing to the lack of means and collaboration of public entities.
The Transparency Entity has acknowledged that it has not yet verified all the unique statements of interest and income of the current Government.
