The Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) has announced that the prices of petroleum products have increased. A liter of gasoline has increased by 170 Frw, reaching 1803 Frw from 1633 Frw. This is while the price of diesel has reached 1757 Frw from 1647 Frw. RURA says that the two-month price increases will be implemented on July 2, at 6:00 AM. The agency also announced that these prices of petroleum products include value-added tax (VAT).
