Government continues to look forward to higher growth than 2% this year

The Portuguese economy grew 1.6% in terms of homologous in the first three months of the year and was charged 0.5% to the previous quarter, according to the rapid estimate published last week by INE.

However, economists minimised the risk of technical recession and expected a return to growth between April and June, after the unexpected drop of 0.5% in the start of the year.
