NY Gov. Kathy Hochul Tells Nicki Minaj to 'Get Offline' After Rapper Calls Her 'Evil'
Minaj attacked Hochul in a viral post as the governor told the rapper to get outside and stop going to Trump rallies.
On Wednesday, rapper Nicki Minaj attacked New York Governor Kathy Hochul on social media, labeling the Democrat an "evil woman" who will "not escape God's wrath" ahead of next week's election.
Minaj's criticism follows her recent appearances with President Donald Trump, including a Michigan rally, amid speculation that the rapper may become the next White House Press Secretary.
The musician urged "BLACK PEOPLE" and "CHRISTIANS" to vote for Republican Bruce Blakeman, sharing a clip of Hochul's 2024 comments about Bronx children not knowing the word "computer."
Responding to the attack during a campaign stop in Albany on Wednesday, Hochul dismissed the criticism, suggesting Minaj should "get outside" and stop letting Trump rallies "poison your mind."
With New York's gubernatorial race concluding next Tuesday, polls show Hochul maintaining a double-digit lead over Blakeman as both campaigns work to energize voters before Election Day.
