Gov. Ferguson nominates 2 new Opportunity Zones in Port Orchard
The Office of Governor Bob Ferguson announced last week that it had nominated Port Orchard census tract 53035092300 as an Opportunity Zone starting Jan. 1, 2027. This designation creates new opportunities for investment and redevelopment in a commercial corridor of the city. This tract is located along the Bethel Corridor, generally between SE Mile Hill Drive and SE Sedgwick Road.
