- On Thursday, Google introduced its Web Guide experiment, a new AI-powered search feature, requiring opt-in via Search Labs.
- With deeper AI integration, Google’s Web Guide categorizes search results with added context and insights to improve information discovery.
- In the Web tab, Web Guide uses a custom version of Gemini AI to reorganize search results, for example, grouping pages related to mango tree care with summaries and categories.
- Users can opt in to Web Guide, which will expand to the All tab and other parts of Search over time, according to Google.
