Firefighters stopped the blaze from spreading, but one shop and a packing store were destroyed, officials said.
- A fire destroyed shops and goods worth millions of naira at Eda Plaza, a building materials market in Jabi, Abuja, on Sunday, with the Nigerian Television Authority capturing shop owners racing to salvage goods.
