Godrej Industries Group Signs Pact to Invest Rs 20,000 Crore in Haryana
Godrej Ventures plans another Rs 3,500 crore in Gurugram office projects as the group says the Haryana pact will create about 40,000 jobs.
- On Monday, Godrej Industries Group signed a memorandum of understanding with the government of Haryana to invest 200 billion rupees in the northern state, expanding its regional presence.
- Expanding its presence, the group has already invested approximately 12,000 crore in Haryana and employs around 9,000 people across its businesses in the state, according to the company.
- Godrej Properties Ltd plans to deploy 160 billion rupees by FY28, with 18 current projects spanning Gurugram, Sonipat, Faridabad, Panipat, and Kurukshetra.
- These combined investments are expected to generate more than 30,000 direct and indirect jobs while strengthening the commercial ecosystem and attracting multinational companies and global capability centres .
- Chairperson Pirojsha Godrej said, "Haryana has emerged as an important growth driver for the Godrej Industries Group," viewing the region as a long-term investment destination with broad opportunity.
