Global tragedy: we reject over a billion meals a day.

Every day, we waste more than a billion meals worldwide, in both poor and rich countries. At the same time, over 730 million people around the world live in poverty, warns a new United Nations report. In addition, the food waste we discard is significantly one of the main contributors to the climate crisis. By turning it into landfill waste, we also discard the energy and resources we used to produce it, thereby accelerating global warming.
