Girl Injured After Falling From Taiko Float at Autumn Festival in Utazu Town, Kagawa (Kyodo News)

At around 8:20 pm on the 26th, a 9-year-old girl from Takamatsu City fell about 1.45 meters from a taiko float used at a shrine's autumn festival in Utazu Town, Kagawa Prefecture, onto the asphalt ground below and came into contact with the float's tires. According to Sakaide Police Station, the girl was injured in her right leg and was taken to the hospital, but her injuries are believed to be minor.
