DePaul Rides the Long Ball to 6-3 Series-Tying Win at Creighton

Led by a balanced offensive effort that featured four multi-hit performances and a season-high three home runs, DePaul softball evened its series with Creighton with a 6-3 victory Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Blue Demons snapped a seven-game skid in the series against the Bluejays and reached the 20-win mark for the first time since 2022.

OMAHA, Neb. – Powered by a two-run single from senior Erika Perez in the fourth and another strong performance from freshman Audrey Gilman in the circle, the Creighton softball team edged out DePaul, 2-1, in the series opener on Friday night at the Creighton Softball Stadium.
