For months, a sick German is in a U.S. hospital – in the hands of the U.S. Migration Agency ICE. The consulate cannot help either.
Just under a year ago, a German from Mexico wants to enter the United States, but can't provide valid papers. Because of several illnesses, he comes to the hospital, where he dies later at the age of 85. The cause of death is determined.
In the USA, an 85-year-old German died in custody of the ICE Migration Authority.
