DEMOREST, GEORGIA — A 66-year-old Georgia man was arrested Friday night after allegedly taking a 30-ton excavator for a joy ride. Deputies say Danny Robinson drove the Komatsu PC 290 LC from a construction site to a private driveway around 7:45 p.m. Friday.Robinson faces charges of DUI and theft by taking a motor vehicle. No injuries or major damage were reported.
