The Georgetown County Library is set to unveil a new statue Thursday. The sculpture will honor Harriet Tubman. It’s dubbed ‘Whispers of my Ancestor’ and depicts Tubman whispering into the ear of her grand-nephew, James A. Bowley, one of the first people she led to freedom through the underground railroad.
