Former Buenos Aires police chaplain Christian Federico von Wernich requested temporary release to travel to Corrientes to visit one of his brothers. The First Federal Oral Court (TOF) of La Plata, which tried and sentenced him to life imprisonment for crimes against humanity, has yet to rule.
The former Buenos Aires police chaplain asked to leave "on the word of honor" so he could go and return alone. He is imprisoned in the VIP prison of Campo de Mayo.
