GCash Parent Mynt Sets Final IPO Price at P6.60 per Share - BusinessWorld Online
The offer could raise up to P60.9 billion if fully exercised, and more than 20 institutions have committed about P36.5 billion.
On Friday, Mynt, the parent of Philippine mobile wallet operator GCash, priced its initial public offering at P6.60 per share, establishing a P442 billion valuation for the fintech firm.
The listing offers critical relief for the Philippine stock market, where funds raised in 2026 fell 71% as of September 29, accounting for just 1.7% of Southeast Asia's equity capital.
Mynt plans to sell up to 8.03 billion shares, potentially raising P60.9 billion if the overallotment option is exercised; roughly 80% of base shares come from existing shareholders cashing out.
More than 20 global and domestic institutions, including BlackRock and International Finance Corp., committed approximately P36.5 billion to the offering, covering nearly the entire institutional tranche.
Retail investors can subscribe to shares from October 6 to 12 at the P6.60 price, ahead of Mynt's scheduled listing on the Philippine Stock Exchange on October 20.
