Gas prices climb near $4 per gallon nationwide

GasBuddy said Americans have spent nearly $8 billion more on gasoline in the past month as crude prices push fuel costs higher.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (KT) – The nation’s average price of gasoline has risen 2.4 cents over the last week and stands at $3.95 per gallon, according to GasBuddy® data compiled from more than 12 million price reports from over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
