Gas leak and small explosion in New Texas: residents evacuated

In the Karekietstraat in the Genk district of New Texas, residents were evacuated on Thursday morning after a gas leak. The East Limburg fire department came to the scene and Fluvius came to repair the leak. A little later, another loud bang was heard, but that small explosion was the result of a short circuit.
