Ganna wins Giro stage 10 time trial, Vingegaard fails to take pink
- On Tuesday, Italian specialist Filippo Ganna dominated stage 10 of the Giro d'Italia, winning the race's only individual time trial. Ganna completed the flat, 42-kilometer route from Viareggio to Massa in 45 minutes, 53 seconds.
- Afonso Eulalio surprisingly retained the overall lead in the maglia rosa despite a strong challenge from race favorite Jonas Vingegaard. The Portuguese rider now holds a 27-second advantage over the Dane as the race enters its second half.
- Securing second place, Thymen Arensman moved to third overall, 1:57 behind Eulalio. The Netcompany-Ineos one-two finish saw Frenchman Remi Cavagna of Groupama-FDJ United take third, five seconds behind Arensman.
- Multiple Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe riders faced illness before the stage, impacting co-leaders Jai Hindley and Giulio Pellizzari. Despite the circumstances, Pellizzari finished 18th to maintain ninth place overall.
- Wednesday's 11th stage features a 195-kilometer route from Porcari to Chiavara with three categorized climbs. The 109th men's Giro concludes May 31 in Rome.
