- Play was suspended early in the first period after CEBL MVP Xavier Moon slipped while defending, with officials stopping the match with 8:14 remaining in the quarter.
- The CEBL declared safety its "first priority" in a statement and confirmed all tickets will be refunded following consultation with venue staff and both teams.
- "With the best-of-three series unable to be completed within the scheduled window, a one-game championship was determined to be the fairest and most practical path," the CEBL said.
