This weekend, Viljandi is living the rhythm of the Hanseatic Days, which bring a medieval atmosphere, lively trade and cultural programs to the streets of the Old Town at the beginning of June. For two days, the historic city center is transformed into a meeting place for merchants, craftsmen, food vendors and visitors from all over Estonia. Saturday also had to contend with rainstorms.
