Gainesville's Heritage Hunt community reaches $425K settlement with DOJ amid PPP loan probe

The Heritage Hunt Homeowners Association has agreed to a settlement of $425,000 with the U.S. Department of Justice in exchange for the closure of the department’s investigation into the HOA’s April 2020 Paycheck Protection Program loan that allegedly violated the False Claims Act, an Oct. 14 letter to residents from the HOA’s Board of Directors said.
