‘Gained Too Much Weight’: M10 Booker Frankenstein Light Tank Is $1,000,000,000 Wasted with 80 Units That Have No Mission

The U.S. Army has terminated low-rate initial production of the M10 Booker combat vehicle after delivering 80 of the light tanks to the force, according to Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll. The 42-ton vehicle became too heavy for its original C-130 airdrop mission and even for some bridges at Fort Campbell.
