The Japan Fair Trade Commission is investigating the Nippon Professional Baseball Organization (NPB), which oversees the 12 professional baseball teams, over suspicions of violation of the Antimonopoly Act (unfair trade practices) over the confiscation of press passes for the Japan Series (Nihon S) from Fuji Television.
