The average price of diesel at gas stations in the European Union has fallen for the first time after four consecutive weeks of price increases, during which it reached a record level, according to data published on Thursday by the European Commission (EC).
The weekly average pump prices in the EU fell by nine cents, to 2.15 euros per litre, according to a compilation of national data published this Thursday by the European Commission.
The average price of diesel at petrol stations across the EU fell slightly this week, after a four-week run of record prices, by nine cents to €2.15 per litre, according to an analysis of data from member states submitted to the European Commission. In Slovenia, the regulated price of diesel is currently €1.883 per litre.
