Frome Lions give funding boost to farming community

Frome Lions has raised £1,500 to support the local farming community and rural healthcare services. For 30 years, the club has worked with farmers in the Frome area by asking them to donate bales of hay or straw, or make a financial contribution. Each autumn, a team of Lions visits outlying farms to collect the donated hay, which is then sold to farms that need extra supplies or were unable to contribute.
