ICE said the sweep targeted fugitives accused of war crimes, homicide and human trafficking, with more than 1,900 active investigations underway.

- Acting ICE Boston Field Office Director David Wesling announced the arrest of twice-deported fugitive Leonel Santos-Diaz in Chelsea, Massachusetts, who faces charges of aggravated homicide and human trafficking in his home country.
- Since 2003, ICE has obtained deportation orders against 1,178 suspected human rights violators; officials previously prosecuted Nada Radovan Tomanic for "concealing her involvement in torture and inhuman treatment amounting to a war crime" while obtaining U.S. citizenship.
