The town hall of Fresnes was sacked on the night of Friday to Saturday by some 20 individuals. An act of vandalism committed on the eve of the first city council, a week after the elections. The city hall was targeted in the night before the first municipal council of Christophe Carlier (LR). Coming in support, the city minister, Vincent Jeanbrun, sees it as "a message sent by people who refuse authority". An investigation was opened.
