French singer Amanda Lear accuses US star Miley Cyrus of 'copying' 1970s hit
French disco diva Amanda Lear accused Miley Cyrus on Monday of plagiarising her 1970s song "The Sphinx" in the US pop star's new track, "Redlights". However, Lear later added that she was not interested in a lawsuit.
On Sunday, September 20, Amanda Lear posted a publication on Instagram that was somewhat ironic. Under a photo of Miley Cyrus she thanked the latter for "copying" her song "The Sphinx" and admitting herself to being "flattened". A few hours later, she spoke in the columns of the Parisian to pose an ultimatum to the performer of "Redlights".
