Free NEET, JEE coaching for 200 students in Maharashtra's Nanded amid drought

Selected students will get structured coaching for medical and engineering entrance exams as drought and financial hardship limit rural opportunities, officials said.

The Nanded district administration in Maharashtra will provide free coaching for NEET, JEE and CET entrance examinations to 200 meritorious students from economically weaker rural families. Students currently studying in Class 10 at Zilla Parishad and private aided schools in rural areas can apply for selection through an entrance test scheduled for December. The initiative aims to help students pursue medical, engineering and other professional courses despite financial constraints.
