Over the past two days, Comte farmers have been mobilising to protest their opposition against the EU-Mercosur Treaty and the government's management of the nodular dermatosis crisis. On Wednesday evening, on the sidelines of a demonstration in Valentine's School, near Besançon, violence broke out after the dumping of nearly a ton of manure on the terrace of a fast food.
